Back to Blog Land

Good Morning.....
Well its been a while....nearly 6 months as passed since I last blogged....such a lot as happened in my personal life that its prevented me from having the time to A, Craft ...B, Blog...C, have time for anything!  But all that has changed now and am back on the DT for

Get Creative Challenges Number 5

Good Morning
Its still bitterly cold outside and still treacherous on my estate
where I live....the roads are like ice skating rinks!

Glitter N Sparkle DT - Challenge 117

Well...all that fuss for that one day and in the blink of an eye its over!  Hope everyone had a great Christmas ...I know I did ...there's just something really magical with spending it with your loved ones.
Santa didn't bring me any crafting goodies this year but what he did bring me was front row tickets to go and see the fabulous Peter Kay in Phoenix Nights...one of my all time favourite shows...I seriously love Peter Kay so this present from my eldest daughter is just the best!....who needs any crafting goodies when I get to see him!
Enough rambling ....its a Sunday again...the last one of the year !  So that means one thing and thats its a new challenge over at

Get Creative Challenge - DT card

Oooops am so late with this post this week ....days and weeks are flying by like a whirlwind and trying my hardest to get through all my orders for Christmas and holding down a full-time job are beginning to take its toll!  So looking forward to the 20th December as it will be my last day of work and the start of a 2 week break...I will be that mad woman running around the shops last minute being chucked out of shops at closing time Xmas Eve (like I always do!)...Last Minute Lil should be my name!!!

Challenge 110 Glitter N Sparkle - Autumn Colours

Morning all....at the time this post goes live I will be sat tucking into a hearty breakfast up in chilly Blackpool...or to be precise Fleetwood.....where we have been enjoying a crafters retreat weekend since Friday!  Have been really looking forward to this since we booked it just a couple of weeks back.....hastily done but me and my best friend Linda are looking at this as market research as it is something we are seriously wanting to do ourselves as a new venture....so as well as a relaxing weekend away its insight as to what we would like to do in the not too distant future!

Get Creative Challenges....Challenge 1

Morning all.....Well......Finally the day as arrived and am just a tad excited!  I hinted a couple of posts back that had some news and now the day as come where I can officially share.....I am on the DT for a BRAND NEW Challenge Blog.....
Angie and I were on the DT for another challenge blog that is no longer going and she mentioned she was starting up one on her own...was chuffed to bits when she allowed me to be part of her new project from the very beginning!  She as put so much hard work into getting it started and am excited to be part of her team!

Another Week...Another Challenge !

Well what a wonderful week of beautiful weather were are having for November ...blue sky's and sunshine....we even went out Trick or Treating with my nieces and the dogs walking around in just a cardigan at night!? What's that all about ? At this time of year usually the heating is cranked up full notch and scarves and hats are out ....just loving this weather could get used to this...but have a feeling it won't last!

DT for Glitter N Sparkle

Morning ......the extra hour in bed means am feeling fresh as a daisy...hope you all are too....only problem with that extra hour is it equals the start of dark mornings and dark nights early and it affects my mood dreadfully...hate this time of the year, going to work in the dark and coming back in the dark = one sad me!
On a sad note too it has been decided by the admins of Crafting from the Heart  (whom I have been DT for a very short time) ...that they are shutting down the blog for the time being as both admins have been having a very difficult time of late in their personal lives...am wishing both Erin & Fiona all the very best wishes and love to them both.

However all is not lost.... it has led to something new and am really excited to be part of...all I am saying for now is check out Get Creative Challenges

The orange border is one of my many growing punches from the Tonic range and the sentiment I used my iniative and did it from Word document and coloured in with promarkers!

Challenge 107 at Glitter N Sparkle

Have had a wonderful weekend ....Saturday was spent at my work colleague and friend Katie's wedding in a beautiful venue at Whitley Hall....she looked stunning, everything about the day was perfect....weather was gorgeous has was the beautiful settings, the food, the company...I want to do it all again and I am not the bride!  And today to top a amazing weekend off I went with my friend Linda to the Doncaster Dome and spent some pennies on new crating stash at the Stamp Magic Show...was fab as had all my favourites there...Phill Martin, Kathy Mills and the wonderful Chloe ...lush products could have spent more if I had it !!!
