Birthday Bonanza !!

Morning All

Well as the title suggests its birthday bonanza in my household and family this weekend.  Yesterday it was my eldest child and daughters 23rd birthday...I still shake my head in disbelief that she's this age. A beautiful young lady but somehow I cant get it out of my mind-set that she is still my little sweet baby girl with the blonde hair and chubby squeezable cheeks!!  She will hate me for saying it on here but I still do see her as that!  And to top the weekend off it is my mummy's birthday today...67 years young...so we off out jointly celebrating the both of them!

Fizzing Fun

Hello...Sunday again....it flies around way too fast!!  Had a hectic week as always ...back into the swing at work...card group on a Thursday morning and back on antibiotics for the umpteenth time this year...but all cope able as still on a high from seeing my other passion in life Bucks Fizz (well formerly of but that's a very long story!)  was an absolute blast at Leeds City Variety (gorgeous venue) some great company old and new Fizz friends and pure nostalgia with a pure Bucks Fizz gig all the classics and some rarer songs and yes even still ripping off their skirts to Making Your Mind Up...34 years after winning the Eurovision in 1981...ahhh the memories!

Hi ho ......back to work I go!

Morning all .....yep as the title says its back to work time for me ....albeit a little late...was only off for 2 weeks but I ended up with a very nasty cut on my leg (from one of our dogs chains I got caught up in and garroted!) that got infected quite badly so could not return to work as originally planned...but happily now all healing well thanks to lots of lovely antibiotics so I returned to work Friday just gone...and already feels like I haven't been away at all!

And as always the time flies...already Sunday again so means one thing in blogland and thats Challenge time over at
