All good things....

Morning all....well all good things come to an end and my holiday time is over in the blink of an eye...not done everything that I intended to do that was on the to do list but hey ho there's always another day!  Did manage to cram a lot in those 2 weeks off though...trips to seaside - lots of crafting - lots of long dog walking - volunteered in my friends charity shop - enrolling youngest child int o college and waving eldest son off to his first ever festival at Leeds...And one great thing that happened ...my eldest daughter returned from her 4 month trip around Asia in one piece and full of fantastic stories and memories that will last a lifetime...oh to be young again!

New challenge ...in more ways than one!

Sunday comes around all too quickly - already one week into the holidays for me and it has flown and all the things I wanted to do ...well again they still remain undone...ah well there is always week 2 to get them done!  Although on Wednesday my daughter gets back from her 6 month long travels from around Asia so wont be doing much other than spending much needed catch up time and cuddles from her ...missed her so much...and got to make the most of her time with us as she is planning on moving away down South to live with her partner.

Other thing that happened this week was that my best friend handed over the reigns to me at our craft class group that we go to on a Thursday morning, as she is enjoying her new job so much she no longer as time for craft.  A bit daunting to be doing it all by myself but exciting too!

Anyway enough of that it is indeed Sunday again so its time for a new challenge over at

Sunday "Cheese"

Helllllloooooo.......Sunday again ....but this week my day off consists of a bit of 80's Cheesy Pop....am off this afternoon with a very good friend who like me loves his cheesy pop...with a bit of nostalgia thrown in!  Am off to a charity raising event in Barnsley with a mix of alcohol and 80's pop stars and I cant wait!  That's what I call a Sunday day off!!
