Oh what a beautiful day it has been today here in Barnsley.....have done nothing other than sit in the sunshine (and a few loads of washing!) and its been heaven...perfect way to see the last day of August out.....September tomorrow god how did that happen...feels like yesterday since we saw new year in!  Time really does fly!

Good evening ...or maybe morning judging by the time I am writing this latest post....tired.com is the word ...after 2 blissful weeks off from work it was my first day back at work today and no matter how hard I tried I just couldn't shake the holiday blues ...thank god its only a four day week!

Glitter N Sparkle - Challenge 98

Morning all ....don't know about anyone else but by heck it was that cold last night am ashamed to say I put heating on!!  Felt like the middle of winter in my house rather than summer....just knew it would be rubbish weather in my time off from work...going into week 2 of my holiday and am hoping that I see at least a couple of days of sunshine before going back to work.  On the plus side it has given me plenty of play-time at the trusty old craft table ,,,instead of doing the jobs that still need to get done around the house...the ones that I said I would do with my time off and yet still remain not done! ooops !!

Glitter N Sparkle Challenge 97

Afternoon from a wet, dark, dreary, thundering and lightening Sunday here in Barnsley...it is yucky outside....and its the start of 2 weeks off from work for me....typical!  Well its ideal for us crafters no better way than spending it inside creating!  Barnsley has seen its fair share of heavy downpour over last couple of days and in some places flooding as been a huge problem....me and my youngest daughter got caught up in Morrisons on Friday where the store was flooding and we had to leave...my poor car was submerging fast under the vast amount of rainfall and the only way we could get to the car was to roll our trousers up shoes off and paddle through the flood...refreshing to say the least but belly laughed so much...do not know what the other shoppers thought of us!
