Twinkle, twinkle!

Evening all,
My second post for the day....think this flu effecting me in more ways than one...or just going a bit stir crazy laying down doing nothing so have created a little xmas card to enter into a few challenges.
Used a Lily of the valley image and glitttered her all up with lovely backing papers bought from a recent craft show at doncaster along with the poinsettas ...love the little touch it adds and the sentiment is from the unmounted stamp company again bought at Doncaster ...just checked out their website and a couple of verse stamps fell into me basket...bloody flu...think its making me delierious!!
So here is the card to enter into these 3 challenges

Hugs to all of you
for now

Pretty In Pink

Afternoon to all you fellow crafters out there on this cold and dreary day ...although on saying that I havent ventured out of my house for the last 2 days as have the "man flu" that my gorgeous son kindly shared with me ...I am lucky enough to have flu jabs for free courtesey of work and am glad I was well enough last week to have the shot otherwise I would be a lot worse than I actually am.  so its been duvet days tucked up with the dog in my PJs and plenty of fluids and pills to keep me going!
Am sharing a card with you that I made the other day (also done one like this in blue) that I made for my stash that I am trying to get together for my second attempt at a craft fayre at the end of November...but with all the orders I have to keep on top of and holding down the 2 jobs its proving to be quite a task!
Anyhow here is the card that I am going to enter into a challenge...my first entry in a very long time!  and its using one of my very favourite images by Sugar Nellie which are a dream to colour with my beloved Pro-Markers (oooh had a delivery today of my new winter edition colours and they are lush!)
Am entering it into the Pretty in Pink challenge over at

Redonkulous-y delightful !

Gosh...it feels like a lifetime since I last blogged...so much for giving my blog some much needed TLC....bloomng work gets in the way all the time!...never mind at the end of this week am off for TWO glorious weeks and am planning on lots and lots of crafting...if the kids let me as no doubt they will have plenty planned for us to do ...I know a couple of days on the skeggy beach is on the cards but other than that not much else on the agenda....so crafting seems like a great way to unwind from all the stresses of worklife ;0)
Anyhows this is going to be my first blog for some time and wanted to share with you a card I recently was asked to do for a wedding of 2 ladies and came up with this

I used a beautiful digi image that I bought from one of my favourite Redonkulous designs..."wedded bliss"....I love Sheryls images so much...the papers were bought at bargain price at the recent Doncaster racecourse fayre but for love no money I cannot remember the name of them but were gorgeous with a royal /wedding theme flowing through them...flowers are from my stash and the loveheart pins are from hobbyhouse along with the loveheart gems ...the crystal stems are from Chloes again where I nearly spent all my money at the first stall we went to at Doncaster....but I just had to have them!  Will never have any money with this daddiction to crafting stuff!  Anyhow am waffling on so....
I would like to enter this card into 3 challenges, which are:

1. image 2. papers 3. flowers 4. gems
&
Pink
&
Pink + 1

Much love to you all....and happy crafting xx

Evening All

Evening.....hope all of you are well...its been an hectic last few weeks that have had no time to keep up to date with things going off in blogland hence the reason I have been quiet of late.  Working all the time doesnt help and been having a few family troubles all adds up to minus any free time!  Plus I dont know about the rest of  you but have been incredibly busy with lots of card orders (not complaining though!)....anyhows thought I would upload my blog page and enter a couple of challenges too....so tonight I am entering this card into

Challenge 13 ...Sports with A Sentiment

&

Challenge 62 ..About the Boys

The image is from Mayzyart coloured in with promarkers...the backing paper from Kanban & the sentiment my own..no added extras as I didnt think the card needed it.
Right am off as I have 2 cards that I have to have ready for collection in the morning and havent even started yet...and its nearly 10pm.....ooppps!

On a roll

Evening again...or at this time in the early hours its a good morning ...wish this awful flu thing would go and leave me alone now...not fun...especially when trying to sleep so gave it up as a bad job...just popped on to enter another challenge...this time over at

Challenge 88...I have used a Mo Manning image...."bunches" (I think) which is so cute and used a 6x6 which is new for me (usually work with 8x8)....dug out my backing paper from a drawer I hadnt been in for a while (ashamed to admit!) and am so glad I did ..love the colours of this one....punch used is from the EK range ....flowers and gem strips from my stash..sentiment from craftwork card messages.  Quite pleased with this one using the lovely sketch and stash layout....am certain will be using this design again!
Right...am off again to try and catch some snoozes...busy day tomorrow and weekend so no time for crafting...boo hoo!
bye for now

2 challenges in 1 night!

Evening again from me....think the heat as got to me abit because thought I would enter another challenge...and thats not like me at all....but saw another challenge that I fancied entering so thought...heck why not !
So heres my second blog for tonight ....this card I made for my own niece whose birthday it was ...shes a football fanatic so this image fitted in perfectly for her...coloured in with my pro-markers with her favourite colour...blue...for love nor money though I cannot remeber where I bought the image from ...think I had got it from the Etsy shop but cant remember the name of the artist (and thats not the heat affecting me memory ...just me age!)...background papers are from Kanban and just a couple of gems on as she isnt the blingy sparkly type of girl like me! So I would like to enter this into

"No Flowers allowed"
Right am off again...to make some more cards....happy crafting xxx

Phew...what a scorcher!

Evening all....well what a beautiful day .....couldnt ask for a nicer day and I bet you are all having a lovely time catching these glorious rays...wish I could have but being at work til 8pm prevents me from doing so...boo hoo...ah well thank the lord for air conditioning to keep me cool :0)
Thought I would share this card with you made for another one of my work colleagues little girls birthday, which I would like to enter into "Lets here it for the girls" challenge over at

The gorgeous image is from The Paper Shelter....Rapunzel is the name of this one...I used the backing papers from this lovely image that I bought as it was specifically what my friend had asked for as her daughter is mad on Rapunzel....I used the digi image and put that on the other side of the card so that she had her own colour-me-in image to do when she opened her card (wish I had taken photo of inside now) and according to my friend her little girl loved it, which pleased me no end.  Didnt want to go mad with this one so kept it very low key with just a few gems inside and out to give it a bit og bling and sparkle!
Anyhows am signing off for the mo...back to work I go !

Evening!

oooh late post tonight but thought I woulld sneak this on in before I get some shut eye....made this card for my friends sisters 21st birthday whom herself is a fellow crafter....so was pleased that she loved this card....and for that reason am going to enter into a challenge "Passion for Promarkers"

"Special Birthdays" is the theme this week..........

The image is a Saturated Canary one "PartyHardy"...coloured in with Promarkers...still cant quite master this shading business...ah well practice makes perfect..one day eh? ...lol.....the card is an A4 size so bigger than I normally do and is a Kanban card already patterned so didnt feel the need to add too much as would have spoilt it....butterfly martha stewart punch...and image cut out using grand scalloped dies....flowers from my stash....as is the gems I added all over!  Cant have enough sparkle!   Anyhows its very late so am logging off for now to catch some zzzzzz's before long shift tomorrow.

birthday boys

Been a busy start to our new year..firstly my number one sons 16th birthday followed closely by my "adopted" son (really my nephew) Daniels birthday...which left me busy making all of the cards for family to give to both of them

Really need to stick to my new year resolutions though as promised myself (apart from the usual weight loss promise!) that I want to learn how to master the art of colouring "properly" with my pro-markers and start entering challenges....may have to visit Linda again for a refresher on how to do it ...as the scatterbrain that I am have forgotten everything she showed me!  :0)
